Legasus

Legal practice management software

Legal practice management, under one roof.

Floor plan of Legasus as a building. Each room is one part of the product: Reception is intake, the Directory is contacts, the Mailroom is mail, the Case room is case management, Desks are tasks, the Docket is the calendar, the File room is files and documents, the Partner's office is analytics, the Staff room is team productivity, Records is the audit trail, the Key room is security, the Workshop is customization, and the Loading dock is data migration. Legasus AI keeps a desk in the hall.

100 Lobby

A case starts as a phone call and ends in a trust ledger. Legasus keeps everything in between on one matter, so your team stops re-typing, re-checking, and asking where things are.

01One matter

One matter. Every room it passes through.

Follow a single personal injury case from a late-night call to a settled file. The facts are entered once, and each part of the firm picks up where the last one left off.

Mailroom · Desks · Docket · File room

The work shows up where the case is.

The adjuster's email lands on the matter with a summary on top. When the case moves to Litigation, Legasus proposes the tasks that phase needs and waits for a yes. Court dates go on the firm calendar, and letters fill from the case in your own Word templates.

02Decisions

Legasus lines up the next step. Your team says yes.

The busywork gets drafted for you: the tasks a new phase needs, the hearing someone asked about, the deadline buried in a contract. It waits in one queue until someone at the firm approves it.

  • Proposed, not pushed

Suggested tasks and calendar events arrive as proposals. Nothing from a proposal is saved until someone approves it, and approved events carry the approver's name.

    TasksCalendar

  • One queue for the whole firm

Pending proposals wait in the Agent Queue, so a partner can see what's waiting, approve it, or reject it without chasing anyone down.

    Firm Intelligence

  • Mail that arrives sorted

Emails about a case link to its matter by rule, with a short summary on the thread and a task you can create without leaving it.

    MailContacts

Illustration: the Agent Queue with three proposals from Legasus AI. A partner approves the status conference, which is saved with the note Created by Legasus Agent, Approved by M. Reyes. A task and a real estate deadline still wait for approval.

03Partner's office

See the whole firm from one office.

Statute dates coming due, where every case sits, and who's carrying what, on a dashboard each person arranges around the work in front of them.

  • Built for each role

Admins, attorneys, paralegals, and staff each start from a dashboard that fits the job, then drag, resize, add, or remove widgets until it fits their day.

    Analytics

  • Capacity you can plan around

Team Productivity and Task Completion Rate show who has room before the next matter gets handed out.

  • A paper trail on every matter

Each matter keeps an audit trail of who changed what and when, ready to export as CSV, JSON, or PDF.

    Audit trail

  • Access your admin controls

Security and access controls are managed by your firm's admin, not by a support ticket.

05General notes

Legasus features, in plain terms.

The questions firms ask before they walk through the building.

N.01What's included in Legasus?

Intake, contacts, mail, case management, tasks, calendar, files and document generation, dashboards, team productivity, a per-matter audit trail, security and access controls, customization, and data migration, with Legasus AI working across them. They share one record for each matter, so something entered once shows up everywhere it's needed.

N.02How do the parts connect?

Through the matter. A lead that converts opens a matter with its client and incident details. Emails link to it, tasks and calendar events point to it, letters and spreadsheets fill from it, and the settlement math runs on it. Dashboards read across every matter at once.

N.03Does the AI make changes on its own?

Suggested tasks and calendar events arrive as proposals in the Agent Queue, and nothing from a proposal is saved until someone on your team approves it. Approved events are saved with a note naming the person who approved them, and rejected proposals are dismissed.

N.04Which practice areas have their own matter pages?

Personal injury, workers' compensation, litigation, real estate, and family law each have pages built for that kind of case, on top of the six pages every matter shares: Activity, Project Details, Finances, Contacts, Calendar, and AI. Other practice areas open under the closest matter type and keep their original practice area as a tag.

N.05Does it work with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365?

Yes. Mail connects to Gmail and Outlook, calendars sync both ways with Google Calendar and Outlook, and documents fill from your firm's own Word and Excel templates.

N.06Can each person see a different view?

Yes. Admins, attorneys, paralegals, and staff each start from a dashboard suited to their role, and each person can drag, resize, add, or remove widgets to fit their day. The AI's tone can be set to Formal, Balanced, or Concise with your firm's own instructions.

N.07Can we bring our data over from the system we use now?

Yes. Legasus supports data migration and imports from other practice management providers. Tell us what you use today when you book a demo, and we'll walk through what comes over and how.

N.08How is access controlled?

Your firm's admin manages security and access controls for your team inside Legasus. We'll cover the specifics for your firm in a demo.
